A new journal focusing on the environmental humanities launches today, produced by the Cappadocia University Environmental Humanities Center in Turkey.
The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) today welcomes its new Director, Professor Steve Yearley FRSE. He is the seventh director of IASH since its foundation in 1969, following in the footsteps of figures such as William Beattie CBE and Susan Manning.
Professor Dorothy Miell, Chair of IASH’s Advisory Board has recently completed an appointments process to select a new Director from the summer of 2017, to succeed Professor Jo Shaw. It is with great pleasure that we announce that the new Director will be Professor Steve Yearley, Professor of the Sociology of Scientific Knowledge in the School of Social and Political Science.
