Allison Steenson has been awarded a PhD in English literature from the University of Padua in 2018. Her first monograph, The Hawthornden Manuscripts of William Fowler and the Jacobean Court 1603-1612, was published in 2020.

Dr Ben Fletcher-Watson promoted to Deputy Director of IASH

Dr Ben Fletcher-Watson has been promoted to Deputy Director and Institute Manager of IASH. Ben began at IASH as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2016, researching Relaxed Performances for autistic audiences. He moved into a professional services role to replace Dr Peta Freestone as Administrative Manager in 2017. Since then, he has worked with over 400 Fellows, winning the Principal's Medal for Exceptional Contribution in 2020 for his work on the Institute Project on Decoloniality.
