Til Debt do Us Part: What else do we generate, when we generate data?
Part presentation, part pop quiz, part questions, part collective reading, this talk will focus on the 6-month project Til Debt Do Us Part - Family Migration and Reunion in the UK, with particular emphasis on the Book Club as a methodology capable of mediating between present-oriented and future-oriented positions on the problem of recognition, a space for regrounging (Mezhiant, 2025) and a ground from which to articulate claims to belonging and project strategic ambassadorial empathy (Keen, 2007).
