Ben Fletcher-Watson awarded Principal's Medal

IASH Administrative Manager (and former Fellow) Dr Ben Fletcher-Watson has been recognised for his exceptional contribution in supporting and serving the University of Edinburgh community and mission, and consistent demonstration of the University’s values, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with 21 other individuals and teams at the university, he has been awarded the Principal's Medal for Exceptional Contribution.

Decolonising Digital: new Fellowship with the British Council

We are proud to announce a brand new Fellowship in collaboration with the British Council. The Decolonising Digital Fellowship is a bespoke fellowship opportunity for early-career researchers from Africa who are living and working on the continent.  

The successful candidate will undertake a 7 month research fellowship based with IASH at the University of Edinburgh, starting in April 2021. They will receive a stipend of £1,300 per month, a £1,000 travel grant and assistance with the UK visa application process and costs.
