IASH Administrative Manager (and former Fellow) Dr Ben Fletcher-Watson has been recognised for his exceptional contribution in supporting and serving the University of Edinburgh community and mission, and consistent demonstration of the University’s values, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Along with 21 other individuals and teams at the university, he has been awarded the Principal's Medal for Exceptional Contribution.
The Principal’s Medal was first awarded in 2008 and is one of the most important ways in which the University recognises both professional services and academic colleagues or current students. These awards are the highest bestowed upon students and staff in the University.
