Under the Influence of Comics: a public lecture by Paul Karasik

The School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures (LLC) at the University of Edinburgh is delighted to welcome you to a free public lecture by Paul Karasik.

In this illustrated lecture, Karasik will reveal the secret language of comics through an entertaining, broad-ranging survey of his creative work, showing how his reading of comics shaped his making of comics.

Under the Influence of Comics will include a one-hour lecture and a Q&A with the speaker (6-7:30pm), followed by a wine reception (7:30-8:30pm).

The event is free.
