The February event of Gender and Film Screening will take place next week on Thursday, 15 February, at 50, George Square, in the screening room at 18.00.

 

The film that will be screened is entitled, The Cycle, The Cycle (2000). It is an Iranian film, directed by Jafar Panahi. The film received 12 awards from various international festivals including Golden Lion and FIPRESCI.

 

We will watch the film, talk about it and enjoy wine, cheese, and grapes!

Frances Poet

Frances is a Glasgow-based writer with sixteen years' experience working as a dramaturg and Literary Manager in theatres across the U.K. Frances has written for stage, TV and radio and has had short films screened at festivals nationally and internationally.
