Project: Moral Ecologies: A Relational Approach to Environmental Ethics
Marion Hourdequin is a Professor of Philosophy at Colorado College (Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA). Her work centers in environmental philosophy, ethics, comparative philosophy, and philosophy of science. She is the author of Environmental Ethics: From Theory to Practice (Bloomsbury) and co-editor, with David Havlick, of Restoring Layered Landscapes (Oxford). Her current book project, Moral Ecologies: A Relational Approach to Environmental Ethics, develops an approach to environmental ethics that focuses on the character and quality of human relations with one another and the broader living world. Marion is Vice-President/President Elect of the International Society for Environmental Ethics (ISEE) and an Associate Editor for Environmental Values. She currently serves on a National Academy of Sciences Study Committee focused on approaches to solar geoengineering research and research governance.
