Biography
Nimah Mazaheri is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Tufts University. His research is in the field of comparative political economy with interests in oil and natural resources, government-business relations, and public goods provision. His book Oil Booms and Business Busts: Why Resource Wealth Hurts Entrepreneurs in the Developing World was recently published with Oxford University Press (2016). His research also appears in a variety of journals that include World Development, Studies in Comparative International Development, Political Research Quarterly, and Middle East Journal. He held postdoctoral fellowships at Princeton University and Harvard University. He received his PhD from the University of Washington in 2011.
