Journalisms of the Anthropocene
Dr Dominic Hinde is an IASH postdoctoral fellow and journalist. He completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2015 on media, modernity and the environment in Sweden and his main research interests are in the fields of communication, environmental change and journalism studies.He has previously also been a visiting researcher in the Division of Rhetoric at Uppsala University. At IASH his project focuses on the overlap between changes to the media industry and the conceptual framework of climate change and the Anthropocene. As a foreign journalist he has covered northern Europe from Iceland to the Baltics, and also works as a writer and translator.
