Thursday 19 March at 5pm in R2B Hunter building theatre (Lauriston Place, Edinburgh College of Art).
Monica Pearl (University of Manchester) will reflect on her experience as a member of ACT UP/New York as well as on her research on AIDS literature and representation that emerged out of the HIV/AIDS crisis, offering guidance and incitement for further activism and direct action. Monica is a highly engaging public speaker and we are so pleased to welcome her in Edinburgh! There will be a q&a afterwards, and all are welcome.
You can register on the event page. We very much hope to see you at this event - please, feel free to pass on the details to interested colleagues, friends, PG students, and activists.
