The talk will explore recent expressions of political theater in Argentina, specifically the play Las putas de San Julián, by Rubén Mosquera. Based on Osvaldo Bayer's controversial historical study La Patagonia rebelde, Las putas de San Julián revisits the now infamous massacre of workers in La Patagonia, which brutally ended a two-year strike.
