About The Ruth Adler Lecture:
The Ruth Adler lecture was a lecture series inaugurated in 2008 at Edinburgh Law School in memory of lecturer and activist in human rights Ruth Adler, whose work was instrumental in the area of women’s rights and children’s rights and was influential in establishing institutions in both those areas in Scotland. It has become an important event in the Human Rights Calendar in Scotland.
