This is a state of the art account of the shifting paradigm informing actions to preserve, enhance, increase, restore and revitalize the cultural heritage of Spain, coupled with large area, territorial and landscape actions, society reading, typology studies, etc, portraying both the mutual dependencies of those approaches and their synergies, and illustrated with examples of World Heritage cities and other historic areas.
