Report from the Stone Circle: a concert by Margaret McAllister and friends

Chamber music for voice, winds, strings and piano by Boston composer and IASH Fulbright Visiting Professor Margaret McAllister, performed by leading Scottish musicians and distinguished poet Aonghas MacNeacail. An imaginative program informed by diverse threads of influence and expression, including world premieres of new music and poetry composed for the concert. Margaret is a Professor at Berklee College of Music and a Fulbright Scholar at the School for Celtic and Scottish Studies and the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Edinburgh. Aonghas MacNeacail and Margaret are currently composing a work for chorus and orchestra.
