SYMPOSIUM: CELTIC STUDIES: CONTEMPORARY OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

The Department of Celtic and Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh is pleased to invite you to a symposium to discuss contemporary opportunities and challenges for Celtic Studies in general and Celtic and Gaelic Studies departments in Scotland in particular.

Professor Máire Ní Annracháin from UCD and Dr Simon Rodway from Aberystwyth University will provide perspectives on these issues from Ireland and Wales. Following their presentations, there will be a general discussion, open to all participants. Coffee, tea and refreshments will be served at 1:00, and we will begin with a brief introduction at 1:15.
