A Reading of The Cantos of Ezra Pound: Beginnings

This is the first of a series of five events, dedicated to reading from Ezra Pound's The Cantos, a long poem in 117 parts. It is the poem of a lifetime, written over a period of 50 years, between 1915 and 1969. We start with the beginning: the first eight cantos, composed during and after the First World War. Actor Paul Cunningham will read from these and make gods, heroes, troubadours, warriors and modern poets come to life.
