Practising the Reflexivity Tenet – Science Studies Unit 50th anniversary workshop

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Science Studies Unit (SSU), one of the predecessors of Science, Technology and Innovation Studies Subject Group here in Edinburgh. Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (STIS) Subject Group is happy to invite you to the Practising the Reflexivity Tenet Workshop, which is part of the SSU 50th Anniversary event series.

We sincerely welcome you to join the workshop! It’s an interactive, two-day (16-17 June), workshop with abundant opportunities to discuss on the historiographies, geographies and mythologies of both the SSU and STS. Besides, there will be exciting walking history of science tour, research sites visit (TBC: Roslin Institute, Royal Observatory, Syn-bio and Astro-bio labs, Centre for Fire Safety, and Surgeons’ Hall and Anatomical Museums) and entertaining Cabaret!
