The symposium is organised by Dr Farah Aboubakr and Dr Farah Saleh and supported by the Susan Manning Workshop Fund from the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh. The event brings together Palestinian artists and scholars who work on Palestine, both in person and online, in an effort to investigate the role of performing arts and music in the creation and dissemination of post-memory within the Palestinian colonial context. The one-day symposium will include talks, live and online performances, and a panel discussion. Entrance to the screening room G.04 includes two wide doors, and there is a gender neutral and wheelchair accessible toilet— all level access. The room itself has stadium seating, so wheelchair users typically sit in the front row; there are usually additional moveable seats also in the front row.
