‘Opening Up the Archives – The Museum of Childhood Book Collection’
Lyn Stevens, Curator at The Museum of Childhood and part of SELCIE - Scotland’s Early Literature for Children Initiative, will give a fascinating insight into the Museum’s collection of 15,000 children’s books. Until recently, this archive was packed away and inaccessible, but with the help of the University of Edinburgh SELCIE team, it has been brought back to life through an exhibition, publication and an event at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
