Human Rights and Discrimination Law Post Brexit

Wednesday 21st June 2017, 6pm-8pm at the Scottish Parliament, Committee Room 2.

 

This event, hosted by the Ethnic Minorities Law Centre and sponsored by Anas Sarwar MSP, will discuss the political and legal implications of the UK leaving the EU, with a focus on Human Rights and Discrimination Law. Our main speaker, John Horan of Cloisters Chambers, London, will provide an unmissable presentation on his efforts to link the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Article 13 (Access to justice and duties on judges), the ETTB and common law.
