We are delighted to announce that the first SEXES event of 2019 will take place on Monday 28 January, 6pm in the Hunter lecture theatre (Hunter building, Edinburgh College of Art). Gary Needham (University of Liverpool) will be giving a seminar on gay cinema after queer theory. There will be a q&a afterwards, and all are welcome. This is not one to be missed - Gary is a wonderfully engaging and knowledgable speaker, and we're very pleased to have snagged him for our inaugural event.
we are also hosting a free screening of Olivier Ducastel's Theo and Hugo on Thursday 24 January (3pm, also in the Hunter lecture theatre).
