The morning session comprises three scintillating talks from Edinburgh Gothicists and guests from Sheffield University’s Centre for the History of the Gothic aimed at reconceptualising current understandings of Gothic fiction:
- Lauren Nixon and Mary Going – the History of doubling in the Gothic.
- Robyn Pritzker – The wild gothic tales of Fanny Stevenson.
- Vicki Madden – Shirley Jackson and American Gothic fiction.
The Wellcome Library's Alice White will be there to provide full training for our afternoon Gothic Wikipedia editathon (and data hack) on Gothic art, architecture, literature and Lost Literary Women. Create a timeline of RLS works in mins!
