Duncan Campbell is an investigative journalist, author and television producer. He writes for the Guardian among others. He is the author of novels and non-fiction books, and has produced television series for the BBC.
In his work, he specialises in intelligence, security services, defence, policing, civil liberties and computer forensics.
In 1988, he revealed the existence of the ECHELON surveillance programme.
