Explore what the world might look like if we experience a series of catastrophes – will you survive?

Join our panel of experts, creatives, and activists as we explore what the world might look like if we experience a series of catastrophes. Speakers include former Fellows Dr Deval Desai and Dr Clare Duffy.

From robots reproducing themselves to the destruction of land and habitat from floods to rising death tolls from new pandemics and anti-microbial resistance, we will explore existential threats facing people and the planet and consider what we as citizens can and should do now and in the future to help avert or mitigate such disasters.

Instead of catastrophising, can we find hope in collective and individual action?

Free tickets are available to attend in-person or online via the RSE website: https://rse.org.uk/event/catastrophe/ This event is part of the RSE's festival of knowledge, Curious.
