Alexander Pozdnyakov is a famous Russian film director, film historian, and scriptwriter who has been working for Lenfilm Company since 1983. He is a President of St Petersburg Film Press Association and an author of these books: Teenagers in Film; From Aquarium to Lenfilm (1996); Acathus Leaves (2014); Big German (under preparation). His list of documentary films includes: Anatomy of film: Human Amphibian (2001); Mannerheim e Pietari (2004); Lights in the Stage (2007 ); German, From the Other Side of the Camera (2009); Diamond Facet (2010); Visiting Empress (2010); 2016 – Christmas Tree on the Banks of the Neva (2016).
