Featured Fellow: Dr Diego Molina

Dr Diego Molina is an IASH Environmental Humanities Fellow for 2026, and currently a Visiting Researcher at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. A botanist by training, he transitioned into human geography and environmental history to explore the evolving relationships between people and plants. On this topic, he has published widely in journals such as Environmental HistoryEconomic Botany, and Global Environments.

The Dangerous Women Project began at the University of Edinburgh on International Women's Day 2016, asking "what does it mean to be a dangerous woman?" A decade on, the Project has produced over 350 essays, three brilliant books, a whole host of events and a community of authors around the world.
