Jowita A. Thor is a social historian with an expertise in the history of Christian charities targeted at marginalised women. Her monograph Magdalene Asylums in Scotland: Protestant Philanthropy, 1797–1914 will be published this autumn with EUP.

Genevieve Warwick is a specialist in Renaissance and Early Modern visual culture.  She began her teaching career at the Courtauld Institute, then serving as Faculty and College Director of Research and Graduate Studies for Arts & Humanities. From 2012-17 she was Editor and Chair of Art History, the leading UK journal for the discipline. She was previously a Visiting Research Fellow at IASH in 2008.

Jim Livesey is Established Professor of History and currently on sabbatical following his role as Vice President for Research and Innovation at the University of Galway. He is concurrently Honorary Research Fellow at the University of St Andrew and acts as the Irish Representative on the Research Strategy Group of the European University Association.
