Alberto Manguel's books A History of Reading, The Library at Night and The City of Words (among many others) have made him one of the most prominent authors on the subject of books and reading in the world today.

 

In this lecture, entitled ‘Adam’s Task: A Dictionary Story’, Alberto Manguel will talk about several of the dictionaries that have been important to him throughout his reader's life and reflect on how they shaped and guided his reading.
