This summer, works by five former Fellows will be featured at festivals in Edinburgh, including the International Festival, Book Festival and Festival Fringe. Tickets are available now for all events.
Edinburgh International Festival:
The End of Eddy is adapted by Pamela Carter (2012 IASH-Traverse Creative Fellow) at the Festival Theatre Studio from 21 to 26 August. This new stage adaptation of Édouard Louis’ acclaimed autobiographical novel En finir avec Eddy Bellegueule tells the unflinching story of a boy growing up in poverty.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe:
Ciara by David Harrower (2004-05 EIF Creative Fellow) appears for a limited run at the Royal Scots Club. Against the backdrop of Glasgow’s dark underworld, Ciara must come to terms with her recently dead gangster-father’s legacy. Will her own carefully-built future be blown apart by her past?

Janis Joplin Full Tilt by Peter Arnott (2017 IASH-Traverse Creative Fellow) is on at the Assembly Rooms throughout August, directed by Cora Bissett. 'So brilliant and intense it lifts the hairs on the back of the neck' ***** (Scotsman).
